We invite you to a concert of the band Jerzy Pillar Trio. Jerzy Pillar – recognized in the music world since the early 1970s, when together with the group
friends founded, today already referred to as the cult, Our Basia Loved band. That's when the famous "Samba sikorka" or "Behind the glass" was created (I'll have a third coffee...). These, and many other hits, still sound fresh and current. He's a master of bossanova. Zakopane, an energy volcano, on scenes for 50 years, invariably gathers sets of audiences in concert halls, outdoors, shelters and firefires. He is left-handed, playing "on the left
Page". He recorded his albums with the lead of Polish jazz musicians, including JanuszSkowron, Zbigniew Jaremko, Krzysztof Śtrzeński, Krzysztof Herdzin, Robert Luty, Krzesimir Dębski or Jerzy Główczewski. Using guitar, oral harmonica and its specific, somewhat snoring voice, it can bring out an extraordinary depth from its lyrics and Jack Gypsy. Stage personality, great sense of humor, extraordinary vocalist – these are the features of the success of his concerts. Coming from the current of the song, he appreciates direct contact with the audience. Meetings with Jerzy are reflective and lyrical, but also humorous, with elements of stand’up, but well balanced.
This time they will play: Piotr Engwert on bass guitar, Andrzej ‘Kwiatek’ Kwiatkowski on drums and accordion and Jerzy Pillar – guitar, vocals, oral harmonics.
